Policy and Procedures
Student Rules and Regulations
1. An enrollment form must be filled out and turned into the office in
order to receive credit for the course. Please read the form carefully
paying close attention to the School Rules and Regulations and the Refund
Policy.
2. Students must attend the required number of hours for each course in
order to receive credit for the course. Classes will begin on time and
will end at the designated time.
3. One hundred percent attendance is required. There are no excused
absences.
4. Attendance will be checked twice during each session beginning with 7.5
hour classes. Attendance Sheet is to be initialed or signed at the
beginning and at end of each session. Students will then be responsible
for making up the time missed.
5. Please call the instructors with any questions concerning the
particular subject covered.
6. Students are required to fill out course the evaluation form at the end
of each class.
7. All final exams will be written and will be given in the last 2 hours
of 30 and 60 Hour courses. Exams must be taken with the class as a whole.
8. Certificates will be issued following completion of the course and exam
(if required) within 1 week. No certificate will be issued until the
student has paid the tuition, satisfied the attendance requirement, and
has passed the final exam.
9. The student is responsible for retaining copies of their certificates.
The school will issue a new certificate upon receipt of a $15.00 payment.
No verbal verification of courses will be given over the phone.
10. No tape recorders or other mechanical devices are allowed in classes.
11. Absolutely no smoking in the classroom.
12. The school retains the right to dismiss a student without refund for
poor conduct.
13. Disabilities: If you have any disability requiring special
accommodations, please notify the instructor in advance. Every effort will
be made to accommodate your needs.
14. Most course materials will be provided to students. Some courses will
require materials at an additional student cost.
15. Pagers, cell phone and electric devices shall be turned off during
class as not to disturb other students.

Information provided by the Instructors of PR School of Real Estate
(the School) is for general educational purposes and to satisfy real
estate licensing requirements only. The undersigned Student agrees not to
rely on such information for any other purpose, and further agrees to hold
the School, and its Instructors harmless from any claims or damages
arising from the use by Student of any such information for purposes other
than education.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
1. Classes must be pre-paid. Full refunds will be provided up to 10
business days and 50% refund up to 5 business days prior to the class.
After that time, full credit for a future class will be provided for 12
months.
2. Grounds for termination are:
a) Failure to comply with school rules
b) Excessive absenteeism
c) Unacceptable conduct.
3. If a class is cancelled by the school, the student will have 60 days to
attend the next scheduled class. Students may substitute other classes
that are the same hours and cost.
4. Weather policy: If the public school district where the class is being
held cancels or delays classes due to weather, the real estate class will
follow the same schedule.
5. Any NSF checks or declined credit cards for class fees or materials
will incur an additional $35.00 fee per item. A bill with a copy of the
NSF check or declined credit card will be sent to your broker. No
certificate will be issued until any outstanding fees are paid. A letter
will be sent to the Department of Licensing regarding the fact that no
certificate has been issued because of failure to pay.
I have read the Rules and Regulations and the Refund Policy set out by
PR School of Real Estate and agree to abide by them in order to receive
credit for this course.
